Linda Jackson Bush Couture

Free Entry
Working as an artist outside the conventional fashion marketplace, Linda Jackson identifies photography as an important aspect in the presentation of her clothing designs.

“By placing her creations back into the landscape that inspired them, whether they be a sculpted flower dress or an outfit steeped in red ochres, Jackson's works become a creative extension of the natural environment," Laura Jocic, Assistant Curator, Australian Fashion & Textiles.

Drawn from the NGV Collection and the artist's own archive, this exhibition features seminal works created by Jackson from the mid-1970s to the 1990s.
