Location & Partners As part of its growth, Art
Platform – Los Angeles has secured its new venue at the Barker
Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport. Coinciding with this move, Art Platform
– Los Angeles has engaged the expertise of renowned LA-based
architects Frederick Fisher and Partners who have led the
renovations of PS1 Contemporary Art Center, Bergamot Station &
Galleries, Broad Art Foundation, et al., to design a well-considered floor
plan that interacts seamlessly with the art exhibited in this historic
space. With Art Platform – Los Angeles' expansion of the
facilities at the Santa Monica Airport, the fair will dramatically extend
the Barker Hangar with additional exhibition and entrance pavilions.
This design will be complemented by the additional and significant
influence of a new partner sbe Entertainment Group, an
industry leading creative hospitality company. Through the partnership with
sbe, fair-goers will be provided an array of unique and curated hospitality
experiences in Los Angeles. These unique experiences curated by sbe will
also be extended to our exhibitors. Patina Restaurant Group will
present distinctly Californian dishes throughout the fair, including a
special pop-up edition of the farm-to-plate cuisine of LACMA's famous
Ray's for VIP guests and onsite Smokey Joe's
BBQ.
