What the f#%k is erehtra.com? #art

A new site has popped into existence from the primordial soup of binary digits. Erehtra.com is featuring three Australian artists; Tim Sterling, Simon Pericich and Joel Gailer. The works are an odd match. A video piece about duration and DIY, a pornographic animated gif complete with cat head and the Mac wheel of death and a white-on-black text piece reading 'nothing between us but text and light'.

What the fuck is all of this? There is no 'for sale' sign. No mention of a commercial or artist run gallery putting it together. One can only assume that it is all about the artists. The only other clue left by a deviously hidden interface (a slideshow with arrows to the left and right of the works) is that this is probably going to be a monthly exhibition. The title of the show, or the date of the show - its hard to tell, is the first thing you see when arriving - "July 2012". I for one am looking forward to August, and hope its as interesting, surprising and delightful as July.
