Summer Study in New York and London includes 4-week, 2-week, and 1-week
courses starting in June and July, with a new 3-day course taking place in
Hong Kong in July. Courses allow students to develop professional
expertise, critical thinking skills, and enhanced knowledge of art and the
international art market. These in-depth courses offer interesting and
compelling insights into the art world and include lectures, guest speaker
interviews, and site visits led by Sotheby’s Institute of Art faculty
and leading practitioners in the field.
4-week
courses Our 4-week courses offer the most immersive study on
subjects ranging from the History of Art and Design to Global Emerging Art
Markets. Students who have taken these courses in the past include
undergraduates seeking a London or New York experience, young professionals
pursuing additional skills and expertise and enthusiasts seeking behind the
scenes access to the international art world.
